| Sammy Miller *Signature Value : £20 | Samuel Hamilton Sammy Miller, MBE was born on the 11th of November 1933 in Belfast N. Ireland and is a championship winning motorcycle racer, in road racing and trials. In the 2009 New Year Honours Sammy Miller was awarded the MBE. His motor cycle career notched up over 1000 wins. Sammy Miller considers the 1962 Scott Trial as the greatest ever. A week of rain meant the course was muddy and dangerous. Conditions were so bad that only 40 finished from a field of 185 that started, with Millers Ariel 500cc a clear winner. Sammy Miller won a total of seven Scott Trials. |
