Formula One World Champion 2009. Driving for the Brawn team in their first and only season in the sport as an independent team, his early season domination proved too much for his rivals to overcome and he claimed the Drivers Championship with a race to spare. With his team-mate Rubens Barrichello, he also secured the Constructors Championship for the team - a historic double for a debutant team.
