22 Special Air Service Regiment, Assault on 16 Princes Gate, Iranian Embassy Siege by David Shepherd. Selling rare limited edition print of 22 Special Air Service Regiment, Assault on 16 Princes Gate, Iranian Embassy Siege on Wednesday 30th April 1980, and was successfully brought to a halt on 5th May. The original painting was commissioned by the regiment themselves and painted by David Shepherd. This is an official print of the painting, no.656 of 850. It is framed, about three feet long including frame, and in immaculate condition, having been framed straight away. It was a gift from a friend. It is very rare to find one of these for sale, but I have been told from an official gallery in London that one sold a couple of years ago for an amount in excess of £550, so I am looking for any offers over that amount.
